I made this portrait of my son, Mack, a couple weeks ago and scanned it today. He will be 14 next month!
These chairs are in the front yard of the old house that served as the office for Norton’s Motel before it was abandoned.
This is the owner of Packrat’s Mini-Flea-Market, a small store on Wells Street that mainly sells old toys. The owner, who says his family calls him Packrat, has the largest collection of Lego sets that I have ever seen. He buys and sells old Lego sets and parts and keeps a personal collection of them. My son loves Lego bricks, and Packrat has a lot of very old and hard to find ones, so we have bought a lot of stuff here! I also have a photograph of the outside of the store.
Another photograph of the abandoned motel on Maumee Avenue across the street from the Omnisource metals recycling yard on the east side of Fort Wayne. These matresses came out of the motel’s rooms, and were stacked in the parking lot a week or so before I photographed them.
This Christmas decoration adorned the front of the Hallmark Inn, a rundown motel on State Road 930 on the east side of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
This abandoned motel is on Maumee Avenue across the street from the Omnisource metals recycling yard on the east side of Fort Wayne. It reminds me of the Bates Motel!
