I photographed this southwest Allen County farm at the corner of South County Line Road and Branstrator Road on a hazy afternoon back in June right before a rainstorm. The drops began to sprinkle upon me as I folded up my tripod after making this image!

I made this portrait of my son, MacKenzie Crawford, on the evening of September 9 as the sun was getting ready to set.

Thanks to my friends on theĀ Olympus Email List, a group of people who use Olympus cameras, we have an answer to my question about the age of the old Cadillac in my last post. It is a 1956 model.
This old Cadillac sedan has been for sale in Waynedale for several months. It started out sitting in front of Favory Auto Repair on Lower Huntington Road, then moved to the location shown here, in front of one of the trucking companies on Ardmore Avenue near the Hanson Stone Quarry. It is now back in front of Favory’s.
Does anyone know what year it is?

Here’s another photograph of Quest Tire and auto on Lower Huntington Road in the Waynedale area of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Here’s another photograph from an abandoned farm on Feighner Road in rural southwest Allen County, Indiana. This little shack was interesting. It looks like a shed from the front, but the building is rather long and the back room, not visible here, has flowered wallpaper on the walls. This photograph was made as night was falling, so there wasn’t enough light to photograph inside. I hope to go back during the day to photograph the inside.

This little auto repair shop on Lower Huntington Road in the Waynedale area of Fort Wayne has been around under different names as long as I can remember. Fort Wayne still has quite a few small locally owned garages like this one.
